How we work

A clear process, from first review to renewal.

01

Review

We start with your governing documents, leases or contracts and your current policies to find gaps, overlaps and lender or CC&R requirements.

02

Shop

We take your risk to multiple carriers, compare coverage, limits and price, then walk your board or team through the options before anything is bound.

03

Support

Certificates, endorsements, claims and renewals run through the same person, so nothing gets lost between handoffs.

Questions

What boards and owners ask us most.

Does our HOA really need D&O coverage?

In almost every case, yes. Volunteer directors can be named personally in lawsuits over board decisions. D&O pays for defense and settlements, and California law only extends added protection to volunteers when the association carries certain minimum coverage.

What’s the difference between the master policy and an HO-6?

The association’s master policy covers common areas and, depending on your CC&Rs, the building structure. An HO-6 covers your unit’s interior, your belongings, your personal liability and loss assessments passed on to owners.

Can you review our policies before renewal?

Yes. Send us your declarations pages and governing documents and we’ll compare your coverage, limits and deductibles against what you’re required to carry.

Are you an independent agency?

Yes. We aren’t tied to one insurance company, so we can compare coverage and pricing from multiple carriers and recommend what fits your association, property or business best.

Ready for a second look at your coverage?

Tell us what you need to insure, and we’ll be in touch to talk through your options.
